We give one Offer for the whole package — e.g. if you are asked for your company’s extract, deed of foundation, signature specimen, bank statements and utility bills, and for the residence permit of its owner or director. The fee for each company document depends on its length, but the discount is based on the total length of the order: 3% from about 14 standard pages of 2,200 characters, rising to 7%.
The personal documents of the owner or director have fixed prices:
| Document | Electronically sealed | Package: electronically sealed + printed |
|---|---|---|
| Residence permit | HUF 13,000 | HUF 17,500 |

Which law allows us to certify translations of company documents?
Under the Hungarian decree on professional translation, certified translations are as a rule made by the state-owned Hungary’s state translation centre, called OFFI until 16 October 2024; the legislation still uses the old name — but the decree itself allows exceptions, and company documents are one of them.
Decree 24/1986 (VI. 26.) MT, Section 6/A — our translation
Specialist translators and specialist translator-revisers are also entitled to make certified translations of company extracts, and certified translations of data to be entered in the company register and of company documents into any official language of the European Union chosen by the company.
Source: Section 6/A (in Hungarian)
Section 6/A covers company extracts, data to be entered in the company register and company documents, into an EU language. It does not cover other documents — e.g. bank statements or utility bills.

Will the certified translation be accepted abroad?
The translation is certified under Hungarian law, and the the statement at the end of the translation that its content matches the original; with the agency’s name, registered office and signature says so in the recipient’s language, naming the decree: certified translation in English, beglaubigte Übersetzung in German.
Whether the receiving company register or authority expects a translation by a local translator is decided by its own rules — inside and outside the EU. If it does not, you can submit ours; if you are not sure, ask before you order.

Our translation also meets the requirements of the Irish and Dutch company registers
Ireland. When a foreign company registers a branch, the Irish Companies Registration Office (CRO) requires a certified English translation of documents not in English, and also accepts translations made in the country of origin: there, the translator certifies that the translation is correct and signs the certificate before a notary. So an English certified translation of a Hungarian company document is also suitable in Ireland, if the translator’s certificate is signed before a notary. CRO information (in English)
Netherlands. The Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KVK) accepts the documents required for registering a foreign company’s branch in Dutch, English, German or French; for documents in other languages it asks for the translation and the original. So a German or English translation of a Hungarian company document meets the language requirement — no Dutch translation is needed. KVK guide (in Dutch)
If the recipient asks for a translator’s declaration in its own wording, send it to us: we can issue one too, as long as it essentially states that the translation is our work, that it matches the attached original in content, and that we are competent to translate it.
